Troy: Fall of a City is an epic war film. It was released in 2014 and distributed by Warner Bros. It has received many positive reviews from critics and currently holds a 92% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, but doesn't have enough rave reviews to surpass The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring for highest-rated movie ever at "100%". The two stars of the movie are Brad Pitt and Eric Bana. I remember having a class discussion about this film in High School history class. Yes I have had some free time. Supernatural is new to Netflix so that will be my new mission after this review. Brad Pitt plays Achilles in the Troy movie 1080p download and he puts on quite a show in both looks and performance. Achilles is a Greek hero so it makes sense that Brad Pitt was cast. He brings all the Greek heroes back to life with his acting in the film. I'm not sure about you so I will break down the plot of the movie for you. The movie begins with Achilles, played by Brad Pitt, being saved by Odysseus from being killed by Agamemnon. He brings Achilles to his tent where Athena comes to him in a vision and says that he is fated to die if he stays in Troy. Not being able to ignore the goddess, he decides to go back to Greece, where he is assumed dead on arrival due to not having his Achilles' heel (he went without it for twenty years). After Achilles has returned to Greece, he is still in love with Patroclus (presumably played by Peter O'Toole). Patroclus' death in the war is tragic, but not because of any battle. Patroclus dies because Achilles is blind sided in battle. The movie depicts the beginning of the Trojan War when Paris, son of King Priam of Troy, decides to go against his father's wishes and steal Helen from her husband Menelaus. His father convinces him that he will be helping with the war effort if he does this. While Paris is in Sparta, he steals Helen from her husband and legend says that this causes the war to happen. All sides of the war begin to prepare for war with Troy. This movie Troy movie 1080p is stellar. My favorite part of this film is the battle scenes with Hector and Achilles. These two have a respect for each other that most people just don't have anymore in today's world. As a soldier I can relate to this but I believe many civilians can as well if they would just put themselves in a soldier's shoes for a moment or two. The battle scenes are done well enough that you can actually see the pain that these soldiers go through when they get severely wounded or killed in battle. cfa1e77820
